It was born from the conviction that quality information is possible. That facts can be separated from opinions. That rhetoric can be named. That logic is stronger than demagoguery.
I am not a journalist. I am a citizen who wanted tools to find the truth amid the noise. To tell apart what is real from what merely sounds convincing. Since those tools did not exist, I built them.
ContrastaLab has no editorial line and no advertising funding. It applies the same criteria to any text, regardless of its origin.
Because in a world saturated with information, the most valuable thing is not having more news. It is knowing which ones should be believed.
